Here’s just a sampling of some recent projects that our Energy Industry Software consultants have delivered on:

1. Energy Trading Software – we recently built a large trading application for energy traders. The application provided a high-performance data grid allowing several hundreds of megabytes of data to be displayed using sophisticated display mechanisms (virtual mode display) and advanced caching.

2. Exploration and Production Software - A recent project had us working on a sophisticated ocean floor exploration and mapping software. The software utilized the latest spatial and geographical datatypes available in industry leading database platforms (Oracle 11g, SqlServer Denali) as well as sophisticated algorithms for extrapolating accurate maps of the ocean floor. We have been involved with various other aspects of the exploration and production workflow.

3. Offshore Platforms – One of the biggest challenges of offshore drilling involves ordering and delivering tools required for the job. This project involved automating various tasks that were ‘paper-driven’ – such as ordering tools from rigs to dock and docks to docks, filling out payroll sheets, time-sheets and other day to day paperwork.
